Schmid Pekintaş processes the personal data of individuals such as job applicants, interns, suppliers, employees of suppliers, subcontractors, employees of subcontractors, third parties and visitors, especially including employees of the Company, which are processed automatically or by non-automatic means that are a part of any data recording system, in accordance with the law and rules of honesty, in a correct and up-to-date manner when necessary, by pursuing specific, clear and legitimate objectives and for the intended purposes, and in a limited and measured manner, and takes all administrative and technical measures in this regard.

In this context, Schmid Pekintaş processes personal data for the purpose of conducting corporate sustainability activities, managing relations with suppliers and subcontractors, conducting personnel recruitment processes, performing internal audit activities and legal formalities, carrying out corporate governance and communication activities, managing requests and complaints, delivering information to authorized persons or entities as required by legislation, and generating and tracking visitor records. During the performance of processing activities for these purposes, if any of the conditions stipulated in the Law numbered 6698 are not satisfied, explicit consent must be obtained from the data subjects.

Schmid Pekintaş transfers the general and sensitive personal data of the data subjects to authorized persons, entities, and organizations in accordance with the regulations stipulated in Article 8 of the Law numbered 6698 by taking the necessary security measures. Schmid Pekintaş does not transfer any personal data abroad.

With respect to personal data acquired by Schmid Pekintaş, a data subject is entitled to know whether his/her personal data has been processed, to request information if his/her personal data has been processed, to know the purpose of processing his/her personal data and whether such data have been used appropriately for their purpose, to know the third parties to whom his/her personal data have been transferred domestically or abroad, to request rectification in case his/her personal data have been processed incompletely or inaccurately, to request deletion or destruction of personal data in accordance with the provisions of the Law numbered 6698 , to object to the occurrence of any results against himself / herself through analysis of the processed data exclusively through automated systems, and to demand the compensation of damages and losses suffered due to the unlawful processing of personal data as set out in Article 11 of the Law numbered 6698.

An application to be filed duly by a personal data subject shall be responded by Schmid Pekintaş within thirty days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request.
